Sarah Hewland offers acupuncture and holistic coaching at her private practice in Claremont, Cape Town.

Sarah graduated from the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1990, and completed a post-graduate Clinical Programme in Nanjing, China. She has been practising acupuncture for over twenty-five years.

Sarah's special interests include:

• mental/emotional disorders
• gynaecology - including fertility and disorders of pregnancy

Sarah has undertaken additional training in the UK with the Acupuncture Fertility Network.

Traditional Chinese acupuncture takes the whole person into account to evaluate patterns of disharmony. It penetrates to the underlying causes and works by adjusting the flow of 'qi' - vital energy - in the body.

Patients have the opportunity to learn more about themselves and become actively engaged in their own healing process.

Sometimes additional tools can help uncover deep blocks and challenges, so Sarah also offers coaching that focuses on developing inner understanding and assists patients to make changes in their lives.
